Income from UK estate
This section is accessed via the data input tab within the tax return and is used to enter details of income from a UK estate. These figures should be provided on Form 185(Estate income).
- Name of estate – enter the name of the estate.
- Non savings income (after tax) – enter the figure from box 16 of Form 185(Estate income).
- Savings income (after tax) – enter the figure from box 17 of Form 185(Estate income).
- Dividend income (after tax) – enter the figure from box 18 of Form 185(Estate income).
- Non-savings income taxed at non-repayable basic rate – enter the figure from box 19 of Form 185(Estate income).
- Income taxed at 22% – enter the figure from box 20 of Form 185(Estate income).
Relief for residential finance costs
Relief for residential finance costs is entered by means of a grid:
- Description of property business
- Profits
- Finance costs
- Unrelieved costs b/fwd
- Available for relief
- Unrelieved costs c/fwd
