This screen is accessed via the data input tab within the tax return. Use this section to provide the name and address of any person who made an addition to the trust during the year. If the trust was first created after the start of the financial year, please include details of the original settlement. For further information refer to HMRC guide

Assets or funds put into trust in [year]

  • ‘Description of asset’ enter a description of the asset added
  • ‘Value of asset’ enter the value of the asset at the date it was added to the trust or settlement funds
  • ‘Additional description’
  • ‘Name of settlor’ enter the name of the settlor.
  • ‘Address of settlor’ click on ‘change address’ to enter or amend an address, for additional information see entering addresses.
